  1. I found your blog from the above mentioned story. Just wanted to say congratulations! I came by my twins by surprise, but several of my friends have gone the IUI/IVF/fertility treatment routes and it really made me want to become a surrogate some day. So happy to come across such a beautiful story as yours. God bless you and may you both carry twins to term and need no NICU time! My twins were born at 35 weeks 1 day, spent 11 days in the NICU, and weighed in at 5 lbs 1 oz and 5 lbs 9 oz. Sort of keeping my fingers crossed you guys go on the same day because what a fun story that would make! :)

  4. I hope you guys have heard of EMOMS! It's the Eastside Mother of Multiples club for Puget Sound. Even if you're in Seattle, you can join. You'll get tons of support from other mom's and there are some nice things like a preemie closet so you don't have to buy preemie clothes. We also have a big consignment sale twice a year where you can buy pretty much everything you need and you can sell all your stuff once your little ones start getting big. I encourage you to join us!

  7. Hi Brian & Misti!

Love your story. I have two sets of twins, also (born 26 months apart). My fraternal boys are now 11 and my identical girls are now 9. I am also an EMOMs member and I would love to connect with you.

I have arranged for help for a few families in the Seattle area in the past (including one that had a 2nd set of twins, and another that had quads) and would like to see how I might be able to help you. Or, even just to chat about having two sets of twins from someone that has "been there, done that".

    Best ♥ Kat

  8. One Mommy helping another...... become a Mommy! :) Here's another story that's unfolding this year! Unfortunately Ali isn't able to carry a baby at all due to a liver disease she has, it could be fatal for her and the baby. So my daughter is working towards being her surrogate. They are both marine families. Meet Alison Stone & Caryn Mata. Read their blogs to follow their journey♥ There are also alot of fundraisers going on since she just found out a few months back that she can't carry a baby, they had no idea they needed to start saving for a surrogacy! Follow their story at...
