After Christmas Update

Wow! Time is going by way too fast for me right now! Unfortunately, I am nursing a cold, but other than that we are having a wonderful visit home! Christmas was delightful (Happy Birthday, Jesus!) then the day after we went to visit Grandma Baker in Paoli, IN. Today we went to Family Worship Center (our old church)... is was really good. It felt very nice to know we have not been forgotten :) From what I have heard the weather is improving back in Washington. I can't believe we missed all the snow (for those who know me- you know I LOVE snow & I am always praying for a blizzard-nothing dangerous-just enough to keep you snowed in). Yesterday, it was 60 here in Kokomo... today down to 45... the weather is crazy here, too. No white Christmas this year...maybe next year. I just got some updating done on Facebook. On of my goals in the new year is do better at staying up on Facebook and of course, our blog. I am still learning this whole blogging thing, so thanks again for checking it out. Visiting Update

So, we drove all night and arrived in Raleigh, NC about 5am this morning... so tired. We got to meet our new nephew, Caleb, this morning & he is a CUTIE!!! He was just born on November 4th, so he is only 6 weeks old. He looks a lot like my brother, Sean (my youngest brother). He and Jennifer were married in September of 2007 and they live in Raleigh.

On our way here, we stopped and had dinner with an old friend of mine, Jenny Sylvester (formerly Cash) and her husband, Bob. They live in Ohio (right on the way to Sean's house) and just had a daughter, Caitlin, in May. It was cool to get to see them.

This evening, one of our other nephews, Tyler, came over to stay the night. He is six. He is my other brother's, Brandon's, oldest son. He is full of energy and was excited to open some Christmas toys (he wasn't as excited about the new pants!). Thanks for checking in with us!

Misty's 1st blog post-ever!

Wow... I feel so techie right now :) Thanks for checking out our new blog (I am planning on adding pictures, too). We decided to do this so we can keep people a little better updated on what is happening in our lives (things are great--we are loving Jesus, life and each other!). We just left Seattle on Tuesday night to head home to Indiana for Christmas. We arrived yesterday morning to VERY cold weather and are so glad to be home!! We actually leave this afternoon to drive to Raleigh, NC to see my brother, Sean, and his family--wife, Jennifer, and new son, Caleb. We are looking forward to meeting our new nephew--he was just born on November 4th. Well, I am not sure how this whole blogging thing works yet, but I don't want this to be too long to read. I will continue posting & updating... I hope you check back soon!
